Should I still contact a solicitor even if I’m not sure I want a divorce?

Deciding whether or not to enter into a divorce can be a difficult and confusing time.

Whilst it makes no difference in English and Welsh law who files for divorce first, this is not always the case in other jurisdictions. If you don’t want to go ahead with your divorce or you want to stop the proceedings, you can do this at any time in the process up until the decree absolute.
